It was very pleasant to be in Nico's chair. He was really friendly and knew what he was doing. The fact that he's Italian and not superfluent in English can be a little bit unpractical, but he makes up for it with his charm and professionalism - his advice for my hair was really good. Also, you'll be in a massage chair when your hair is being washed (comfiest chair ever) and they serve you drinks (great cappuccino!). I'm very happy with how my hair turned out and already received a lot of compliments. I'll be coming back, even though I thought it was quite expensive. I'm not sure what to think about that, however if you compare the Colour Lounge's prices to other hair salons, there's nothing weird going on here. So it might be just me not being used to the Amsterdam hairdresser prices. Plus, my hair really looks great so maybe it's just worth it :)

Renae and Nico made me feel very welcome. Nico took the time to advise me on the colour and cut. Both super friendly, attentive and most of all very talented and happy to share their knowledge. Nico did Balayage and I am very happy with it.

Although I forgot to book for a haircut (in addition to the highlight treatment I booked) the hairdresser was friendly enough to stay and work late hours to get me looking shiny and bright. Very happy with the result as well!

Very disappointing.
The goal was to make a nice lighter beach look on my hair and the result was a yellow orange colour.
So I booked another meeting so they could fix their mistake.
And the result was even worse.
I gave up and after this I got so many comments about what I have done with my nice long hair and that I should fix it. At least 5 persons said it.
Very very disappointing.
