Lea was top!
Lea is an amazing person and amazing with curls! She takes the time to cut it how you want it and can explain all you want to know about your curls. Would definitely recommend it!
Lea is amazing. She is very down to earth and works really hard to help realise your hair vision with you. Her goals are keeping your hair healthy and making you look damn good. She works with your hair type, explaining about your growth pattern, products and her techniques as she goes so there’s nothing to be afraid of. If you are following the CG (curly girl) method, she is fully stocked with approved products. She takes the time needed to perfectly sculpt your hair and make sure you’re happy with the final result. If you need a good curly hair dresser, look no further. Lea loves curls and you will not be sorry! The other staff at the salon were also very nice and accommodating.
I wasn’t planning on leaving a review since I don’t like to leave a more negative one. But then I thought it might help other curlies who like me really are in need of help. Lea’s a sweetheart and knows curls. I came in with very damaged hair, not ready at all for a bigger chop. Mostly because I lack the knowledge to care for it and make my hair look good consistently. So my top bun is a must go to. She convinced me to cut it. She cut off a lot of the damage, which I admit was needed and brought back some curls. But now a week later my hair is dry, poofy and the cut looks like an afro, which was not the shape I was going for at all. Despite my many questions I’m still at a loss how to really care for it, what products to use for my hair and how to style it. So if you’re looking for a cut you can care for and lots of advice to guide you through your haircare regimen then this might not be the best place (yet).
