Glowwell is great, with very nice people and environment, but the main reason I go there is May.
May used to work at a different spa, and I followed her to Glowwell because she does the best deep tissue massage in Amsterdam.
I suffered from real stress and knots in my back, shoulders and neck a few years ago and tried many deep tissue masseurs in order to fix it.
May was the best by miles and totally fixed my problems. Yes, it hurt at first, but that’s when you know it’s making a difference! I continued to use her regularly for 2 -3 years.
I have other sporty friends who have lived in Amsterdam for 15+ years who have also concluded that May is the very best in town and have been regulars of hers for years too.
If you are someone who’s stress manifests itself in tightening muscles, knots etc, or if you play sport and need to help the muscles recover and stay supple, then May is the answer.
More than that, she’s a lovely person, who will always try to make sure she's available for you.
