This is the first time I went to this salon with my friend and also the first time I actually feel awesome with my hair while going home. Thanks to Treatwell I was able to find this amazing hairsalon with the amazing owner Edward and his cousin! They treated me super well and made me feel comfortable while they were doing my hair and I knew exactly what they were doing as they kept asking questions about what I think and about how some things feel. This is truly also the only salon who pulled off to give me such a fabulous haircut with an ombre color! I recommend this to everyone who still hesitates to visit here. I am Asian and my hair is super hard to dye, but in this salon you can be guaranteed optimal results and even advices from the hairdressers. They even sold me a shampoo which fits my hair and color. Truly nice and amazing people: will visit again, guys!
PS: try the Japanese hair treatment! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it, because I was in lack of time, but my friend did and she got super soft hair... wow! They even have a massage chair sooooo......

I am very happy I discoverd Hair Art. Fitst of all, the hairdresser Edward is perfectionist. A very friendly Guy. He takes and makes time, everytime for my hair. Now I am over fifty. And I simply want to look younger.
My hair is almost totally grey .... and when the magician Edward treated it carefully full of confidence I walk out his store... in a really great neighbour hood. The enchanted center of Amsterdam.

My new favourite hairdresser in Amsterdam. Finally, a hairdresser who understands how to deal with Asian hair. Absolutely lovely, friendly people too. Will book again.

I visited Hair Art today and was extremely satisfied for the following reasons:
1. Location: Hair Art is in an ideal location which is perfect if you are a tourist (only 8-10 minutes walk from the Amsterdam train station).
2: Quality: I received the blowout/cut with the Japanese treatment. The Japanese treatment is amazing, especially if you have dry and damaged hair. My blowout was superb and my hair felt super soft. Edward was also mindful not to cut too much of my hair off when snipping my split ends which for someone like me (my hair grows very slowly)- that is extremely important.
3. Friendliness: Edward is very engaging and super helpful. he even let me leave my bag at his salon so that I didn't have to walk around with so much stuff!
All in all- Hair Art is great- I would highly recommend this salon!

I've got my Japanese perm straightening at the Hair Art Amsterdam. I'm really happy with the result, hair is incredibly straight and looks much healthier than before,
