About
A colorful cocktail: half Greek, half Dutch and 100% in love with the world. Michalis works as an International Alpine Tourleader and massage therapist. This altruist loves guiding people on journeys. Whether it’s high up in the Himalayas or on a massage table, you will feel safe and at ease in his happy and open, but caring presence. He is gifted with hands of intuition and has a passion for helping people find their balance and inner happiness through massage, meditation, reflection, and self healing. In Nepal he has learned about the unique effect of sound healing and a singing bowl has always accompanied him on his journeys since. He combines Eastern and Western ancient healing techniques with stretching and acupressure points, flowing strokes, kneading and tension releases. The sounds and vibrations of singing bowls and Reiki energy can open up blockages in the chakras, resulting in your life force energy flowing better again. Organic massage oils with a blend of precious essential oils, the mountain-tea, the sage and incense he burns and the instruments: all ingredients he uses have a story and are brought along from his journeys. Michalis hopes that you’ll leave floating on a cloud, but with a sense of grounding and internal calm as well as an increased range of motion and fluidity. Michalis is also available for outcalls (eco-friendly by cargobike within the Amsterdam city-ring) and works internationally on retreats and events. Some specials are the signature sessions: where he combines all massage techniques combined with soundhealing into an amazing timeless journey, his massage classes and best of all... the four hands massage experiences! He collaborates with yoga teachers across Europe for special Yin Yoga Sound Healing classes, where he plays singing bowls upon the yogi’s bodies while they are in yin yoga postures. -An amazing experience, ask him when the next one is in Amsterdam!
