I came here for a wax the week before my wedding, and the owner sold me on a facial as well. The wax was fine -- little pain; clean; and thorough. During the facial, however, the owner bruised my eyelid while removing a milia (she was the one who wanted to remove the milias, and told me about this milia that she specifically wanted to remove it because of its placement). She knew about the wedding and told me the bruise would be gone in two days; but five days later, on the day of my wedding, I still had a visible bruise on my eyelid.
I called the salon to let them know, and the person at the front desk (not the person who had given me the facial) told me that you never know how a client's face will react to the treatment. My response is that if you know the treatment can cause visible bruises for some clients, to avoid that aspect of the facial when you know that the client has an important event in the next few days.
My wax and threading experience was positive, but the bruise and the salon's response were frustrating. I would recommend this salon to others but tell them what happened to me, and to avoid getting your milia removed here if it's for something important.
