Always a lovely experience going to Maryam Hair & Beauty. On a sunny corner in a quiet residential neighbourhood, there’s a family atmosphere between the Iranian owner, her daughter and the two hairdressers I speak with the most, one Syrian and one Egyptian. Everyone who works there is always genuinely welcoming and I always get a good cut from Ibrahim.
