Worst manicure I have had in The Hague, and I have tried several salons.
I had the gellak "manicure" (there was a very brief push back of the cuticles lasting a few seconds, and then buffing, but no shaping and two nails are still rough at the edge). After buffing the nail was not wiped, so I have bumps of dust under the colour. Polish application was sloppy and I left with colour on my skin around several nails that I had to remove at home.
The whole manicure took 19 minutes; normally for gel it takes close to an hour. When I arrived the staff were discussing their lunch order and I have the impression this is why the whole experience was so rushed. The curing time under the (dirty) lamp was extremely limited and after one day, the gel has already started peeling on one nail.
The colour does not match the one I picked, so either she used the wrong polish or the samples are not an accurate reflection of the colours, either way this is a problem.
The nail table is dirty, covered in old polish and my hands were on an old towel - no paper or disposable cloth was put down. All the polish bottles are just thrown messily in a basket.
I will not return.
