I LOVE, LOVE my new haircut! The whole experience was just absolute top-notch. Ethan (and his cute dog) greeted me warmly at the entrance of his salon. Once seated,I showed him a picture of the haircut that I wanted. And Ethan understood the assignment! He worked so professionally, that I basically just trusted him during the whole process. He is also a natural conversationalist and that made me - a first-timer - feel at ease quickly. No wonder his salon is top-rated. It's very well deserved.

Best haircut I had in years. Ethan is thorough, maticulate and really nice. The salon is tastefully furnished and he has a very cute dog. Truly recommend this place!

I had a fantastic first time visit to Ethan for my haircut and blow dry. I felt comfortable and at ease immediately on meeting him, he is such an open person the conversations just flowed, it was as if I was visiting a close friend. I loved the whole experience, the coffee was great my new haircut is brilliant, I love it. I will definitely be going back.

Ethan is a very experienced hairstylist. He has worked all over the world and he knows hair. He does my hair in a way that the colour stays beautiful for 3 months! My husband and teenagers are also fan, because he knows exactly what looks good on them. It is nice and quiet in his saloon because you are the only client. If you like you can have fun with Ethan, but he also loves to be silent, if that is what you prefer. I recommend Ethan.

I had an amazing experience at Ethan Schwartzman’s salon! The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming, making it a pleasure to spend time there. Ethan is a true professional—he knows exactly what to do with hair, and I couldn’t be happier with my haircut and balayage. He also gave me great advice on hair maintenance, including the best shampoo and products for my hair type. the Frappuccino was the best I’ve ever had! Ethan Schwartzman has moved to Haarlem after working in San Diego, Paris, Mexico City and Dublin. After his training at The Dessange Institute in Paris, he made his way into the world of beauty and fashion, working as a top hairstylist for renowned salons, magazines, television and private clients, and recently with Rob Peetoom Hair & Beauty in Haarlem, where he introduced the balayage technic. He is a specialist in French style cutting, color, and balayage, working with L’Oreal Products, and his high standard techniques will enhance the natural quality of your hair, to make you look your best! After 17 years, he has now decided to work as an independent Hairstylist, receiving you in the beautiful country house “Eindenhout” in Haarlem, better known as “Het Huis met de Beelden“. Under the actual circumstances, of course special attention is paid to sanitation (surfaces and utensils disinfection after each client, mouth cap etc) and you will be his only client in the room so you will also have full attention of the master himself.

Owner Ethan has over 17 years of experience. He is a hair expert, specialised in cut and balayage colouring. Ethan has international experience and has worked at places like the Paris Dessanges Institute, and in cities like Mexico City, San Diego and Dublin. At this salon the focus is on fortifying the natural quality of the hair.

Good to know: there is free parking available. The entrance is on the left of the facade, main entrance of the house is on the back side.
