Joyce from J. hairstylist used to work as a freelance hairstylist. She had the pleasure to work at various wonderful locations in Amsterdam. She gathered the experience and inspiration to settle down, pulled all her ideas together, and set up her own place. She wanted to create a salon that inspires fellow creative thinkers and offers them a space to grow and move on to their own businesses.
Joyce fell in love with the new venue at Korsjespoorsteeg 14, the most beautiful Street in Amsterdam, and moved in during the summer of 2020. This pretty little street, between the canals, free of cars, located in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam, gives you a sense of being in the old Amsterdam of bygone days. The new salon is cozy and homely with the aim to make you feel calm and at ease, so you can relax into the hands of our stylists and leave the salon with the biggest smile!
